Career opportunities for BSCS graduates

Game Developer

Video Game Developers, also known as Game Developers, are responsible for designing and developing video games for PC, console, and mobile applications. Their job is to code the base engine from the ideas of the design team. They may also be involved in character design, level design, animation, and unit testing.

Data Scientist

Data Scientists must be able to write code, analyze data, develop or improve algorithms, and use data visualization tools. Communication skills. Data scientists must be able to convey the results of their analysis to technical and nontechnical audiences to make business recommendations.

Software Engineer

They work with System Programmers, Analysts, and other Engineers to design systems, project capabilities, and determine performance interfaces. Computer Software Engineers also analyze user needs, provide consultation services to discuss design elements, and coordinate software installation.

Computer Programmer

Computer Programmers write, modify, and test code and scripts that allow computer software and applications to function properly. They turn the designs created by software developers and engineers into instructions that a computer can follow.

Research and Development Computing Professional

Computer and Information Research scientists typically do the following: Explore problems in computing and develop theories and models to address those problems. Collaborate with scientists and engineers to solve complex computing problems. Determine computing needs and system requirements.

Systems Analysts

A Systems Analysts is an IT professional who works on a high level in an organization to ensure that systems, infrastructures and computer systems are functioning as effectively and efficiently as possible. System analysts carry the responsibilities of researching problems, finding solutions, recommending courses of actions and coordinating with stakeholders in order to meet specified requirements. They study the current system, procedures and business processes of a company and create action plans based on the requirements set.
