2 Years Associate in Computer Technology

The Associate in Computer Technology program (ACT) provides knowledge and skills in the fundamental of computer programming and basic computation. The program also include topics related to data structures, network concepts, computer organization, datebase management system and system analysis and design.

After completing ACT, you may have the option to work and or continue for a bachelor program such as BSIT, BSCS, BSCoE or any technology related programs.

Career opportunities for ACT graduates

Computer Operator

Provides data by operating a computer. Determines sequence of operations by studying production schedule. Performs defined tasks per documented instructions/processes. Prepares equipment for operations by accessing software in computer.

Computer Specialist

Assist computer users and organizations. These specialists either maintain computer networks or provide technical help directly to computer users.

Software Developer

Create the computer applications that allow users to do specific tasks and the underlying systems that run the devices or control networks.

Applications Programmer

Assist in the definition, development, testing, analysis, and maintenance of new or existing software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements.

Hardware/Software Technician

Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products.
